is it legal to add a trailer to your home as an add on?
we have a small home and have another baby coming and need more room in our house is it legal to add a trailer home to your house.
i live on private land out in the country and the trailer would be added to the back of the house where it cant really be seen or noticeable and all the siding would be changed to match so only about 5 feet would hang off from our house
Depends on your neighborhood and city regulations. Some neighborhoods will not allow trailers, you'd have to build on.
Honestly, in my opinion: structurally speaking you would want to build on. Better insulation, resale value, looks better, etc.
