I'm moving to Minneapolis around that time from Louisiana to start my new career. Any advise for driving in the snow by the way? I have a front wheel drive, will that help?
Cold. expect below freezing every day. The first thing you should invest in is snow tires, not all season tires, The second is hat, mitts, winter boots and heavy parka. Get your car serviced and winterized at a Minnesota garage. If you live in the city, I'd suggest taking the bus to work as much as possible until you get used to things. I don't drive, but I've been told to stay off the brake if you are going into a skid, and try to steer into the skid so you don't wind up in a snow bank.
